The Boeing 737 made its maiden flight on 9th April 1967. This short-haul airliner, 2.500 of which have been sold to date, was to become the most succesful passenger aircraft of all time. Powerd by two Pratt & Whitney engines with 7,250 kp thrust, the 737 reaces a max. soeed of 934 km/h.
